We went down to the local Post Office just now in the rain and spotted this pigeon sheltering

Is that a mature Gbh (Great blue heron) Because ours doesn't quite have the same plumage? North America

Good Afternoon,

A few more birds taking advantage of two full feeders and a mixed cloudy/sunny day. The fledging got dropped off by Mom, and got a nap in while she was taking care of business... I switched over to Canon cropped gear (7D MkII), running the EF 500mm f4 L up front.

Good Morning,

Just got through cleaning internal haze on lens elements in my FDn 200mm f2.8 lens. Looks pretty good so far on the E-M1.1,; Dxo was used to get rid of the purple haze. Stored the settings as a new Pre-set called the "Hendrix Effect"....

Yep, took me ages to get them to stand in the right place. The one in the middle fell asleep waiting for the others.

Good Afternoon,

Just as I was about to pack up the gear, this little one dropped by for a visit for about 5 minutes, grabbing sunflower seeds and pulverizing them. It finally moved slightly away from me so I could be inside of the MFD of the FDn 300mm. Razor thin plane of focus; this was the best of the bunch.
