Noticed this before with Canada geese, they tolerate total different geese. Not common at all with birds. Nice shot.

Quite right Rose, they are very territorial. The female is the sounding horn of the two and you certainly know when they are aroundI didn't see the beginning of this thread, so hope I'm not jumping in with a random irrevelant tangent. At the local park for the last two years, at certain times, breeding times I guess, there was a pair of paradise ducks. It was noticeable, that when they were there, the usual plebs, the mallards, went elsewhere. I read somehwere that paradise ducks are very territorial, and I wondered where they went, and if it might be the same pair coming back to breed?
