Very nice shot, Richard. The Laughing Kookaburra is one of the animals we learn about when studying Australia in a World Geography class in the States. At least it was when I was there back in the Stone Age. 😂

Birds that form large flocks and screech their way around the landscape.
Highly entertaining at times
I was surprised to see the Tasmanian Magpie mingling peacefully with them

these were a long way off, but it shows how they standout in the landscape. Roosting in a single tree they can convert it to a flowering magnolia in appearance
