Absolutely the wrong lens (manual 50mm) and this is cropped to 100% - but I'm sharing this just because they're cute. Bulbuls
The Cape bulbul (Pycnonotus capensis) is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is an endemic resident breeder in coastal bush, open forest, gardens and fynbos in western and southern South Africa.

I rarely have the right lens on for birds but this one landed right beside the place I was shooting bees...

I know the feeling, for one of the most common birds (it's right in the name) they can be some of the more skittish I have ever encountered. (While there are a some rare occasions that they really don't care about me that I can use my 24-80mm lens with them, it's very weird)
