Both well done. That first one though, wow. White bird on a bright background is difficult to get right, well done.
Dennis,
The first image is simply stunning.
Oh dear. Once I get back to Albuquerque, I need to throw a long lens on the E-M5 and get to the nature center. Trouble is: I just got an X1, and I have an LX100 on the way. Both great cameras that aren't exactly birding material. I haven't visited this thread in a while, and it's better than ever. Lots of talent around here.
We went to see a raptor show. It was both awesome and impressive to see those big birds up close and it gave me a chance to play with my A6000 and it's 11 fps. Only around 30 keepers of 900, guess I need more practice.
All shot with the 50mm f1.8 oss.
Apologies if the images are too large, I'm having a devil of a time trying to link images from Flickr on this tablet
Star of the show.
