a couple baby Robins in a nest outside our kitchen window. They just left the nest yesterday and I feel a strange sadness. I really enjoyed peeking out the window and watching them progress.
First attempt at using a Vivitar 70-150 f/4 on my Lumix G1. Quite acceptable considering the jays were jumping all over the place in deep shadow under the tree.

Testing out the new 50-230 on the X-T1. Trying to photograph a fidgety Bluejay under the canopy of a tree in failing light. Lesson learned . . . I should have bumped up the ISO. Not bad, but could be better.

Our plovers (Masked Lapwings) have had 3 babies. Two still survive but even as I type I hear the parents shouting at someone and telling them to get away... The two survivors are doing OK so far.
