Hawk watching. These guys are very vocal. Just a few minutes after that first image, the male returned with lunch. Enlarging that last image it looks like a squirrel.

The creek which runs along the side of the bike path has spots where it widens out into what is almost a small lake. It's a preferred stopping and feeding spot for various Oregon waterfowl, including this pair of Canada geese, looking oh-so-stately as they meandered past me---

We are regularly visited by Rainbow Lorikeets, generally around sunset. On this occasion, they were particularly active, but I was still caught by this one’s ‘shaking its tail feathers’ hence not that sharp.
