A male Robin today framed by branches, a little puffed out, probably to insulate him from the damp chill today. I've noticed pairs mating the last two days. One pair was going at it at 4:45 am yesterday when I was walking my dog. I'd expect the first batch of baby robins to begin falling out of their nests in a couple of weeks. I'm told they have two to three rounds of baby robins each season here.

This was shot in color, but interestingly the processed B&W version has much more impact, which was why I selected it.
