Birds Show Birds

Someone here suggested that you can't be a birder if you don't have pictures of Warblers. I suppose there's some truth to that. I wouldn't know a warbler from a finch if I tripped over one while climbing a tree. But today, while I was out taking pictures of baby swans, an actual birder with binoculars kept interupting me and pointing out, "See that bird over there? That's a Blah blah Warbler". He said a few different names, none of which I remember, but I did manage to get shots of two that I think are Warblers. And here they are...

The last shot I believe is a Warbler,... well,... warbling I think.

EDITED TO ADD : Yes, it's confirmed, they are both Warblers. The top three shots are of a 'Palm Warbler', the last two are a male Myrtle Warbler. See, I have learned something new again today.
It was me lolz, and I said it in passing. It's confirmed your a true birder now. Ha ha ha

Good Evening,

Only had an hour in the kayak tonight, but it was peaceful and well-worth it...

Regards,

Edd

Stopped by one of the Swan's haunts today again. This is the same clan I got images of yesterday. The cygnets look to have grown noticeably in 24 hours, or maybe I'm imagining it. I am monitoring two other nests that haven't hatched yet. I'm skeptical that the eggs are viable in either given the cold snaps we had since I've been watching them, but this group surprised me, so I suppose there's still hope.

This shot I just missed the quintessential heart shaped swan image by a fraction of a second. It was in my viewfinder, but by the time my finger moved and the shutter went off it was gone.

This appears to be private one on one tutoring. The other two Cygnets are off getting in trouble at the moment.

Actually it was quite intriguing yesterday. I saw these 2 (I assume they were pair because they were very close and not fighting each other) cute little Long-Tail Tit with so many bugs in their mouths I couldn't imagine fitting just one more there. And instead of going to their nest or eating they just jumped from one tree branch to another for more then half an hour. I was starting to wonder if they have pockets or they were cooking them at high speed in the sun. I could tell them apart by the kind of bugs they had (one of them had a green catepillar) by they never stayed on the same branch together).
