Belgian brewers like alarming brand names, don't they?
La fin du monde translates as the end of the world, there's Duvel (devil) and when I visited Brussels I tried La Mort Subite, which means sudden death. In fact I drank sudden death beer in a pub called sudden death.
If you did suffer some misfortune after drinking those brands, you couldn't claim that they hadn't warned you.
(Thinking about it, my great-grandfather was struck and killed by a London trolleybus while walking home from the pub. His unfortunate demise was a cautionary tale my mother told us as youngsters - bad things happened to people who drank beer in pubs) (It would have been a better story if he'd just stepped out of the Mort Subite pub in Brussels)
