Just a general comment of appreciation for Walter's (@phigmov ) truly wonderful beer photos.
If you ever considered creating a book out of them, I would be one of your first customers!

I belong to a beer-club - every 6 weeks I get sent a box of 6 new bottles/cans of beer (#beerjerknz is the hashtag on social-media for people in the club to share their thoughts on the weeks brew). Always something new. With Covid I rarely get out to the many craft-beer pubs in the city anymore so this is a handy 'life-line' for trying new brews. I'm not a massive drinker anymore so 1 beer a week is fine.

I've certainly become a lot pickier in my old age. I tend to like styles or breweries more than a particular beer as I get to try a different one every week. Anything by Urbanaut brewery is usually great, I've come around to Sours in summer, a good Barley Wine or Porter in winter, a nice hand-pull English-Ale year-round and I'm always up for a fresh-hop beer if its the season for it. I've never been a huge fan of smokey beers - too much of a fad for my liking. Ditto the Gose style; don't even get me started on Sour Smokey Goses - some brewers have too much time on their hands!

From a google search:
Schlenkerla Rauchbier Weizen is a highly fermented German smoked wheat beer with second fermentation in the bottle. It is made from a blend of Schlenkerla's signature smoked barley malt and wheat malt. As it is not filtered, it has a typical cloudy appearance. Its aroma is light and complex with smoky notes.

It is not heavy so an easy beer to drink on a hot day.
