Victoria Bridge

The Victoria Bridge between South Bank and the Brisbane CBD taken at night.

The Victoria Bridge was lit green to commemorate the Brisbane Irish Festival and the Saint Patrick's Day Parade.

Bailey Bridge at Kaipororo Rd Eketahuna. Right next to the historic ANZAC Bridge ..... I'll post images for that bridge elsewhere ......

Bailey Bridges are very topical here in Hawkes Bay at the moment as there is talk of constructing several to allow access of isolated communities to basic supplies. Seems to t be taking a while though - already a month on from Gabrielle, but I assume the delay is probably due unstable land in the approaches to where they want to put the bridges .....
