The Astoria - Megler Bridge. Just over four miles, bridge and causeway, from shore to shore. The pilings in the river are from old canneries. They are left because once removed they cannot be replaced. They are preserved by the salt water and can be re-used by attaching new pilings to the old ones, should the need ever arise.
BTW, I love this lens. 24 to 240 covers just about everything I want to shoot. The sensor can make up for any less than huge lens opening so it works at night. Made in China and functioning perfectly. Not everything out of PRC is junk or low quality.
