Our old house...garden was the old graveyard to the soyland town cemetery..we had over 100 bodies in the garden! Took a while to feel comfortable sunbathing on the grass

First use of cheapo CPL(kenko) through bedroom window...don't really use filters generally. View attachment 386958
That looks OK, Scott. I assume that the keystone distortion is a characteristic of the lens, not the CPL?

Kenko made some brilliant stuff and some absolute junk, back in the olden days (1970-80s). Maybe they just had stuff made by multiple suppliers with their trademark back then?

Hi John
Yeah I guess it's the panny lens on olympus body..plus our window height is higher than houses below..that might affect perspective somewhat?

Yeah, Scott. 12mm is wide enough to get some quite spectacular geometric distortion if you're not straight on to the target, horizontally and vertically.

This effect only gets more pronounced as the lens gets wider. Far more so with my FTs f/4 7-14 than with my mFTs f/4 8-25 Pro, which is remarkably forgiving, by comparison.

Last night, we went to photograph for our inner-city baseball league. As we were driving home, we noticed the clouds that were enormous and in the reflected light of the sun setting, it was indeed a powerful image. Some shots looked like Mountains in the distance and others looked like massive explosions.
