Yeah, sorry to hear that Scott.
Most people I know who've had it say it's one of the most painful afflictions.

We've just been told we qualify for the vaccine but as I've had horrendous reactions to the 5 Covid ones, I'm rather reluctant.
Anyway, hope it's not too bad for you and you recover quickly.

I’m sorry for your pain. My wife has it, diagnosed 7 days ago, and in our 35 years together I’ve never seen her suffer as much. Hers begins in her left hip and extends to her left knee. It’s a bitch!

From the first time around! It is without a doubt the most intense pain i ever had!!
Funny enough..it was either the AZ vacine..or covid pnuemonia which kick started it..Apparently there has been a tenfold increase in shingles case's the last couple of years!!
It is a condition i wouldn't wish on a worst enemy!

Thanks Brian...yeah it looked....and felt like i had done 12 rounds with mike tyson!
The worst is the PHN that comes to the lucky ones like me... for whom the pain / nerve damage never goes away!
