John, I think that the Aborigines here have got it right. They reckon we have six seasons a year, not four (except in Melbourne, where we have all those during any particular day ... ).Lucky you, John. Our huge Eucalyptus viminalis in our front yard drops about 10-20 Kgs of dead leaves almost every day of the year. It's about 80-100 feet tall. Most Australian plants shed leaves all year round, but particularly when they sense a period of extreme heat coming.
