Had an exceptionally good day yesterday for flowers, even though there was very strong winds and it was a hard fight to keep the shutter speeds up to avoid motion blur.
I never seen these flowers quite like this, so fluffy pink and pinky fluff.
Quite the bedfellow, blackberries and yellow flower (messy background because blackberry bushes are a nightmare to photograph with all those sticks and thorns and often dry and dead).
I love them but they are quite impossible to photograph without focus stacking because of the depth.
There is one area, next to some residencial garden fence, where these little beauties grow all on their own on a very busy doggie footpath. Probably someone dumped a bunch of seeds over the fence and now there's a small colony of them.
There are white ones and pink ones.

I kept my favourite and best ones on this post 
I just love playing with and simplifying the background with bokeh. I thi k I might put this one in September's camera club competition (which is flowers theme).
Purple with green is such a strong combination of contrast and pop.
This one made me wish I had a 1:1 macro lens because it's so small I had to crop a looot to focus just on it but I'm still happy with it (I might try to close the lead on the leaf on the right side).
I love these little ladies sitting under the big green leaf, I was very careful to crop equal and enough room to not cut out the green leaf at the top and the small one on the bottom right.
These two really grabbed my eye by proximity and the way they reflect on each other, fully open and fully closed.
I love these two together and it was pretty hard to try and get them in the same plane of focus and try to keep the aperture wide enough to separate the background and gather enough light because I was in the shade in early evening. I didn't even noticed the tiny critter until I got home.
This is uncropped and I like it a bit but not as much as the one above.
