Thanks, Walter. We have been in California for two weeks, taking care of things at my mother’s house. When we arrived, weather was still cool and all we saw were buds. Since then, true spring has sprung, and many dozens of roses adorn the bushes. My mother passed away in January, but her flowers are celebrating her life and legacy in April.
