Struggling to identify this bee. It was small, probably 5mm or 6mm long… can anyone help?

A comprehensive guide to insects of Britain and Ireland' by Paul D. Brock.
I followed online advice and didn't get the very latest edition, since the 2019 version has more details etc. Super book, the pictures are pretty small but there are nearly 3000 of them.
It describes a few Furrow Bees which are the right shape, but also mentions a metallic green sheen on the nearest match, which would be hard to tell under all that pollen. Changed my mind about my "wasp" above too
