Bugs Show 'Insect'

Saw the first butterfly in our garden this morning when I went out to make the "up in the air" shot. So I did not have the proper setup but I had to be quick so I only had time to adjust focus and left other settings (iso200, f/4, 1/500). Shot w/ x-pro1 and 60mm lens.

The EOS-M 22mm lens is NOT a macro, but the lens is sharp, has a reasonable close focusing distance, and the body has enough MP to crop to have a little insect fun.

I have a resident Hummingbird Hawk moth at the moment, who is taking advantage of the Buddleia that hangs over my back yard from next door and I've seen daily for a while now. This isn't the sharpest nature photo you'll ever see, but I likes it all the same ...

If a spider can be cute, then those little jumping numbers are cute. we get similar ones here. they remind me of little terriers.
