I love the platyball. The one-handed adjustment works like a dream and the panorama is smooth as butter. I have the one with led leveller. Easy to set the tension just enough so you can move the camera after the subject but the camera stays in place if you let it go. It may take a.little getting used to but a friend who is a proffs wildlofe photographer loved it

It needs a new water pump, $1800 to replace on this model, and it overheated, so we'll need to do a compression check to see if the rest of the engine is OK. If not, I won't go further, but I'm hoping I won't lose what is in essence an $1800 wager. Like I said, that Tiger Swallowtail was a gift.
