That looks like a really cool place. I recall going to Grand, Bryce and Zion while out there. Never heard of Utah’s Little Grand Canyon…until just now. Hope you get back there (with cam of course) during clearer weather.

A new location for me and a place I've wanted to photograph for a few years. Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill in the Peak District.

Chrome Hill from the other side, I made the mistake of hiking over the top. I'm just glad it wasn't windy because the path is barely eighteen inches wide in parts and solid rock and ice. I will definitely be walking around next time I go.

@Phil.H , much as I admire the images, I can't help thinking how freezing you would have been dealing with the preparation and aftermath of these shots.

It was -8 there yesterday, I had plenty of layers on so it wasn't too bad. By the time I hiked to the top of Chrome Hill I was sweating buckets and had to take my Jacket off to cool down.

Stunning shots Phil, and much nicer than the "standard" shot if I may say so! Ofcourse the snow/ice divide helps here, aas does the morning light, but I much prefer the compositions in the first two sets as well.

It isn't an easy location to shoot I feel but the conditions definitely helped. I will definitely be going back, hopefully with more snow on the ground.
