What was your preparation for the shots Phil? I don’t mean the camera settings, more so the grunt work, which I imagine involves setting that alarm for 3am and yomping long distances to get to the shot point etc.

My alarm was set for 4am. I nearly didn't bother getting out of bed,but I'm so glad I did.

This was taken from the summit of Mam Tor,It's not much of a hike to get to this viewpoint as the carpark isn't too far away, maybe 15mins depending on ones fitness as it is uphill all the way.

An eight shot, hand held panorama of the Grand Canyon N.P. from the west side of Mather Point. Not particularly good but does show how rugged the terrain is and how difficult hiking the Park can be.
