Had a bit of a small sensor fest this morning. I love the GRD3 for landscapey stuff. All were shot at ISO 64. I don't like random noise in my shots.

I have NO idea why anyone would plant aloe in the midst of what is, effectively, weeds and grass. Its just a paddock at the top of wetlands.

I've also converted these to B&W just to see how they would translate. I'll post in emerson's bw landscape thread.
 
I've been reliably informed that I am mistaken on the nature of the plant in the above shot. Its a variety of Sansevieria (Mother in Law's Tongue). either way, its pretty in that environment :)

Mystery solved. Its not an aloe. It isnt a sansevieria. Its an Agave. Now they may all be generically related, I have no idea, but I looked around in my street today and several of my neighbours have them. The ones down in that paddock have been cut and dumped.
