Local Landscapes with X100

Happy to contribute to this thread as I love landscape and the X100 is a great camera for it.

Thanks Iansky for sharing your great work with us. My fav is shot #1. Do you prefer shooting B&W over to color?
Congrats on your X100 - GREAT camera.

Hi Herman,

Thanks for the nice comment, my favourite is also the tree as it has a magical quality about it and really stands out in 3D.

I always shoot in Raw and then when reviewing/editing, consider images that I think will be better in B&W - having said that, I do tend to shoot most of my landscape images with B&W in mind so look for interesting skies and foreground detail to work together.

I find the X100 a really "comfortable" camera to use and I know the results will live up to my expectations due to the superb sensor /lens combination.

Practice: A Few Quick & Dirty HDR Landscapes from Mid-Michigan

A walking path at Sleepy Hollow State Park, hand-held with the E-M5 and 40-150R. Much sharper for some unknown reason when viewed at PicasaWeb:

I was driving along a back road and had to stop and grab this shot. Again, sharper at PicasaWeb. E-PM1 & 14-42IIR:
