I don't know what bug this is but it's small and fast ... And eating something, I think.

Cropping in closer. I don't know if the little critters on the underside are parasites or it's offsprings. Shot handheld with only natural light.

Trying out In camera Focus Stacking with the Oly 60mm f 2.8 of a rock I kept at home in a box (it looked cool at that time).

Though I did shot Focus Stacking with JPEG + RAW after importing the images I noticed the camera had only 3 to 6 RAW files and the same amount of JPEGs which is confusing because I set it to 15 images to stack. Quite a few things I need to re-learn.

I remember I had a Minolta +2 Diopter kicking around and my 46mm to 55mm step-up ring so I tried them with pretty good success (though tb extra magnification didn't seem to be that much better (maybe 1.3 to 1).

I used an old piece of moss I took last year and forgot it in a box so it all dried up now, leaving quite an alien landscape in it. And some really strange strands of white strings that look like spider webs but I'm sure they are not that.

I really don't know what they are or who made them.

Dried seed pods (I'm guessing) of some kind.

I have 2 small tubs of wet jelly balls I keep for macro stuff, just fun to watch them or stick my fingers in them and let them squirm around :p

Tried f 16, way to mushy to be worth the DoF, I am going to avoid this aperture at all cost.

Tried f 11 and it's a lot sharper, this would be my last resort for DoF traded for sharpness.

F 8 is sharper again and now you can really see the small blades coming out of th channels of the (dead) leaf.

Now it's really narrowing down at f 5.6, exceptionally sharp though. This one has a lot les DoF because I had only 3 images for stacking instead of 5 like the rest.

Not sure if I would use f 2.8 even for Stacking ... Unless I really need more light ... But that should be fixed once I have a Godox V350 II flash.
