Show Macro

This iPhone6/Olloclip macro, despite the apparent bad quality, was extremely difficult to do because the writing is inside of the watch-case back under a thick sapphire crystal, and reflections were everywhere. The actual lettering is approx. 2/3 to 3/4 of one mm tall.

iPhone6s-plus, f2.2, 1/15 sec. handheld, ISO 32.

For a phone and add-on lens, that's pretty decent.

The TaoTronics lens includes macro, wide, and fisheye - $12 includes all 3. So if you were to use just 2 of these, that's $6 per lens, compared to $50 per lens for OlloClip, and $200 per lens for Zeiss.

From personal experience the super wide lens offers unacceptably bad image quality. Bad center, even worse edge performance and extreme chromatic aberration.
Fisheye is decent. Good sharpness in the center, softish towards the edges and only moderate CAs. All in all usable.
IMO the macro lens is the best of the 3.

EDIT:

Here are 3 more photos, taken with the S5 Neo and TaoTronics macro lens. The first one is a jumping spider from the genus of myrmarachne. These jumping spiders look like and imitate ants.

I assumed this was a butterfly, but it could be a moth - don't know.
