I don't know what kind of synergy (is that the right word?) you've developed with your Df, Chris - but I keep seeing images I love, many of them with landscape elements in them, which you've taken with your Df. Including this one. I'm not sure what it is that makes me like it so much... but I do.

We don't really have mountains here in Australia.
The highest we have now is Mt Kosciusko, at around 7,000+ feet.

Back in the old days, the MacDonnell Ranges were the highest mountain range on Earth, at about 35,000 feet. However, time has taken its toll, and they are currently about 1,000 feet high ...

While we were away, we visited Mt Kaputar, in Mt Kaputar National Park a couple of times. Here is one from the Paul Skye lookout, near the summit at around 1,400m.

Note the severe image degradation, particularly in the background, due to heat haze and eucalyptus oil in the atmosphere. Very typical of Australian conditions.
