St Pancras Station, known and probably photographed by everyone in London, opened in 1868, the survivor of 5 bombs during the first world war, another bomb during the second world war, numerous attempts to close/ demolish it and the scene of many films.

Lucien you are correct it is the Taj but I was making a general comment regarding the wearing of footwear Which I didn’t make absolutely clear. As a matter of interest when I visited the Friday mosque I was given plastic foot coverings instead of having to remove my shoes. This is not always the case and I believe the custom of removing shoes is much stricter in mosques used for worship.
