Probably my mistake if that's causing a misunderstanding ... In Scotland (where my English grew into what it is today), "wellies" are wellingtons - gum boots (as we say in German).
No sheep involved, at least not necessarily. The other way round, well ... maybe.

We managed a couple of days away in the motorhome in Llangennech.
I'd plotted a circular route from our campsite but the access was impenetrable.
So, we ambled around and found this nice track.........
....which led down to this nice footbridge over Afon Morlais.
