Photographing anything I could, which wasn't a lot, from the vantage point of a coffee shop whilst waiting for the Apple Store to open in Charlestown Square yesterday morning. FYI no purchases made, but more clarity on needs vs wants achieved There was just nobody about, the shops did not open until 30 minutes later.

It didn't work to exclude me because the point of shooting from the side made the composition just like a tourist's snap with too much unsorted objects.

Thought I would post this one from this morning. Visiting our daughter in Texas, where the temp has been over 100 for over 60 days. This squirrel has found a cool spot on the ground by the tree. Spends several hours each day cooling and resting. Taken from the dinning room, through the door glass, across the porch through the railing. About 20 ft with G1 and Vivitar 70-210.

Squirrel just lays out in the heat of the day.. I guess he likes the cooler ground against his belly. Sometimes leaves and then comes back. He moves about from time to time. He also guards the spot from other squirrels. Brings his lunch onto the porch sometimes ( Pecans).
