What a great shot as a starter !
Lived in Stockholm for over 20 years. First time I have seen such a display of the Northern Lights. I am sure that further north they were even more spectacular. My son called and said there were visible so we rushed down the lane to catch them. As usual it would have helped to be prepared and to remember where some of the camera settings were. Also stressful that my daughter was dancing about with her iPhone taking some great photos!!! Quite chuffed anyway.BRAVO AND WELCOME @Mrs B

What the camera saw today through the living room window. Nice, sunny day.

What my brain saw today through the living room window. "Don't go out there you'll freeze to death!"
Thanks for giving me the decisive clue, Miguel. I was wondering what these were used for. The technique they're made with looks very similar to the wicker baskets the farmers in my home village used for putting the dough of the bread loves in which they then brought my father, who was a baker, to put them into the oven.Nice shot, Walter.
And I'm curious - are these old wicker beehives still 'occupied'?
