I would tend to agree with you Ad. Not knowing how the foot controller is implemented in the running of the machine ie how it controls speed, it's hard to say what is wrong with it. She did complain that the machine would just stop running when doing an embroidery pattern, but those are usually done without foot controller input, I think.
