Matt, words fail me!

Indicative of all sorts of weirdness occurring over last 20 years or so.

Some people appear to think that their whacko conspiracy theories (etc) have equal weight to science and research.

Heck, even some 'science' and 'scientists' are subscribing to the idea that their beliefs are more important than the actual facts ... If the facts disagree with their pet theory (actually, hypothesis ... ), they just ignore the facts. Fundamental failure of the scientific method.
