I had this option in mind, but I just thought it's maybe to "cheep" an effect.
But I agree with you both, sometimes this version has its special charms. :drinks:

It would be nice to hang on the wall which ever way you would like to see it :whistling: no offensive intended 👍

Thanks for your nice reactions to the photo, that's why I love this thread. :2thumbs:
As to hanging it on the wall, I'd prefer the upside-down version.
The shore of the lake looks definitely better.

Another kind of reflection: reflection on a life once lived.



I captured this at a convalescent hospital using a Canon A-1 35mm SLR camera. Can't remember what lens I had on it, but it was either the 50mm kit lens or a 135mm - probably the latter so I wouldn't disturb the man. The person I was visiting there said he sat in that chair nearly every day and didn't speak to anyone. This was one of my early attempts to make meaningful art with my photography. Now, 36 years or so later (and I'm not so far away from his age at that time), this is still one of my favorite portraits.
