So here is another shot of the same building with a Leica M10-R. The building is the Wells Fargo Bank Building in FT Worth, TX. We stayed at a hotel across the street for New Years which had a nice terrace facing the building. You can see the hotel reflection in the middle of the image. This one came out quite nice, taken during blue hour NYE.

Walter, I take it that these are the extremely rare Beaver Ducks?
Sorry, but I guess I've been sleeping when we had this in Biology.
As to the question whether it's a beaver duck or a duck beaver I checked *goo* . All I can say is:

Beaver ducks: The female duck mates with the male beaver. The male beaver has the dominant gene in passing down the body of a beaver, and the female duck has the dominant gene in passing down the duck bill. Together they form the platypus aka "Beaver duck". As you can see, that one's out of the race.
One kind of duck that is definitely not a resident here where I live is the Closet duck.
