That's a beauty
No mistaking that one.
Haven't seen a cars name plastered across the grill like that. Looks in good order
When I saw this Austin 1100 yesterday, it took me back many years! My father had the same looking car branded Morris and a lady upstairs in our apartment block had one branded Wolsley - all looked the same

An excellent example
They were common here for a while but never had the appeal of its junior.
The Wolseley would have been more upmarket I imagine.
Better appointed inside.

Very like my hotrod Morris 1100, Irene.
The engine's probably just a little bit different ... ;) .
Mine would do 105 mph at 7,000 rpm in top, and was about as fast as an 1800 MGB (five bearing version) over a standing quarter mile. Not bad for a lump of lard!

When I was 17 and learning to drive, my uncle sorted out a car for me.
It was the Morris 1100 owned by a colleague of his.
He'd agreed to sell it to me but asked if he could use it to take his family on holiday to Cornwall.
It blew up in Devon on the way home and I ended up with an old Beetle instead.

1914 Fafnir Hall-Scott Special. This has a 10.5L 4 cylinder aero engine producing around 100hp and 480lb ft of torque (available at pretty much any engine speed).

Love that capture. Very nice
I'd love to see that working.
Bet it emits an awesome sound
Edit. Just found a few interesting links
It certainly does come with appropriate sound effects

From memory, it was more refined than expected but you could definitely feel the pulses. I can’t help thinking that one pot’s capacity is pretty much my entire engine.
