I photographed the Nicolai Maersk as she passed between the first port and starboard lights FI.R.4s heading into the Fremantle Inner Harbour on 4 January 2021. Her last port of call was Singapore, and her next port of call is Yantian. She was assisted by the tugs, Svitzer Falcon and Svitzer Redhead.

Atout (previously known as Cypria, Driever, and Miltiadis Junior III) (IMO: 9354648) is a container type-ship registered and sailing under the flag of Libera. Her gross tonnage is 18,199, her overall length (loa) is 182.52 m and her container capacity is 1,702 TEU. She was built in 2001 and is operated by Capital Ship Management Corporation.

I photographed the Atout as she passed the port light C, FI.R.4s on her departure from the Fremantle Inner Harbour on 30 April 2023. As she passes the North Mole light, she swings to port to follow the Deep Draft Vessel Approach (Transit Corridor). The pilot is expected to depart at the Inner Pilot Boarding Ground. Her next port of call is Singapore. She was assisted by the tugs, Svitzer Falcon and Svitzer Redhead.

Conti Chivalry (previously known as Ever Chivalry) (IMO: 9293791) is a container ship registered and sailing under the flag of Liberia. Her gross tonnage is 90,449, her overall length (loa) is 334 m and her container capacity is 8,084 TEU. She was built in 2006 and is operated by NSB Niederelbe Schiffahtsges of Germany.

I photographed the Conti Chivalry as she passed through the mouth of the Swan River heading into the Fremantle Inner Harbour on 30 April 2021. Her last port of call was Adelaide and her next port of call is Singapore. She was assisted by four tugs, Svitzer Albatross and Svitzer Eagle Svitzer Falcon and Svitzer Redhead most likely due to both her size and the tide. I did notice one of the tugs was working hard to keep her speed down.

I photographed the Rainbow Warrior as she departed the Fremantle Inner Harbour on 2 May 2023. Her next port of call is Broome, Western Australia.

The Jawan (IMO: 9262895) (previously known as Corvus J, Maresk Westland, Dana Gothia, Charon J) is a livestock carrier registered and sailing under the flag of Panama. Her gross tonnage is 11,874 and her overall length (loa) is 134.06 m. Her container capacity is 630 TEU (reflecting her prior life as a container ship). She was built in 2003 by Detlef Hegemann Rolandwerft of Berne and is operated by Macronsult Schiffahrt GMBH.

I photographed the Jawan as she lay alongside her berth at Fremantle Port on 2 May 2023. Her last port of call was Haiphong in Vietnam.

The panamax-sized container ship, Maersk Virginia [IMO 9235531] arriving Fremantle Port on December 13, 2015, from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. She was heading to berth alongside the Patrick Stevedores operated No. 10 NQ berth. Her next port of call is Tanjung Pelapas in Johor, Malaysia. The Maersk Virginia was built by Hyundai Heavy Industries Ltd in Korea in 2002 and has a TEU capacity of 4,824.

I was wandering around our west mooring basin in Astoria, OR, this evening on the way home with the Pixii and a '51 KMZ Jupiter-8 that has CZJ glass and internals. The first photo, of The American Empress, is at the Maritime Museum. Images are JPG SOOC. And here are a few pics:
