It's next to a building site, but that basically proves you right ...Tanker driver I suspect. 😉
When we moved into this house, I put a kerb line down like that and every time we had a LPG delivery, the driver would damage it...........
until I reported him and put a (successful) claim in. 😃

Probably not quite, but close enough (probably closer to 3:1); of course, if Fredrik agrees, we can move it somewhere else.65:24?
Some cameras have it as a setting, but I’ve always arrived there through a preset in post. It would be fun to have it as a mode in camera, but I have the thirds lines on my EVF display, and the horizontal thirds are probably pretty close to that ratio. Is 65:24 native to cameras other than X-Pan, or is it achieved by cropping in post?
I have to crop, but my preferred app lets me set any ratio I want.Is 65:24 native to cameras other than X-Pan, or is it achieved by cropping in post?
Same here, a preset in Apple PhotosI have to crop, but my preferred app lets me set any ratio I want.
Most images I treat this way make the 65:24 ratio seem very natural at first glance ... Pretty intriguing.

Yes, I admit it, it's not 65:24 or 2,708:1, but the gravel path should end in the left edge of the picture, the trees needed some "air" sorryProbably not quite, but close enough (probably closer to 3:1); of course, if Fredrik agrees, we can move it somewhere else.
Still, it's a special kind of format, certainly worth wrapping your head around ...

Fredrik the images are delightful, but please, try to stick to the format. This thread was created for it.Yes, I admit it, it's not 65:24 or 2,708:1, but the gravel path should end in the left edge of the picture, the trees needed some "air" sorry

"We" got it as a wedding gift. Of course my wife doesn't use it, she doesn't like the patina. Soft, so it sharpens up easily, and as you said, razor like.I have a Sabatier like that one. Sharpest knife in the drawer.
I quite agree with Matt, Frederick. And please do note: I did not mean my post as a criticism, quite on the contrary, I was just wondering about the difference to the other posts.Fredrik the images are delightful, but please, try to stick to the format. This thread was created for it.
No offense meant (and none taken because of the choice of format), but we want to keep things tidy for everyone to enjoy.
