Show "Signs"

I hate to have to disagree, but this is "Bärndütsch", so "äuä" isn't "aua", but "allwäg", which means something along the lines of "oh, really!" or "really" (as an affirmative). Swiss German is a mystery all by itself :)

And I thought it's so close to my dialect in the south west of Germany (allemannic).
Thanks Matt for this lesson in Bärndytsch ... yes in some respects languages are a mystery. ;)

The Wattle Trail, Jarrahdale – JWR #001 by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

With the relaxing of Covid-19 restrictions somewhat and having a few days leave, I took the opportunity to take my Salsa Mukluk fatbike for an overnighter to the Munda Biddi campsite at Wungong.

The first brief section was sneaking out of Jarrahdale on the Wattle Trail (a walking trail). Despite the signs, I still missed a turn 😊
