Spiders Show: Spiders

Tetragnathidae genera I think. Seven Genera and 20 regional species here on the west coast. Not the best image but interesting as they are called long jaw orb weavers (common name) and you can see they have large fangs:) Body about 3.5 to 5mm on this one.

Aren't most women squeamish about insects esp. spiders. Kudos to your wife.
There's statistics, and then there's the normal curve. We're both outliers in different ways.

She's the one who's been raising snakes and other reptiles since she was 11.

She was the one who first encouraged me to feed the kitchen spider. It and/or its ancestors have been resident under that light for over 35 years.
