Not sure that'll ever cease. I do remember way back when that the biggest insult was always when a line or cross would be splayed over the artwork. I'm not quite up to date with what the kids do these days but I'd imagine it's the same.As an ex breakdancer from the 80s I grew up in this graffiti culture and still appreciate the Art..But Hate tagging! THERE IS NO ART IN SCRIBBLED NAMES..Especially on the top of talented art ..just looks scruffy!

On a wall at the former Lorton Correctional Complex which was used for Washington DC prisoners. The last prisoner left in 2001. It is now The Workhouse Arts Center.
