Excuse my curiosity, but what became "interesting"?
The series is really impressive, by the way - is stuff of this quality easy to find?

It’s been a while since we visited this area. I would have considered it safe, if you’d asked me before we returned this time.
For the short few days we were there, the mentally ill roaming the streets were intense. There were drug deals going on in broad daylight, someone got mugged half a block away from our AirBNB.
There were constant reports of gunfire reported.
There was just a general sense of unease.
I get that we were close to New Years Eve, but this was above and beyond that. Just way more than I want to have my family have to go through. We left early, and the rain that came through just helped to make that move accelerated.
We just did not feel like pushing our luck or safety any longer.
Not much of a police presence, as I’m sure they were busy having to deal with the usual issues of a large inner city.
I’m just glad that I’ve been trained to be situationally aware and can handle myself.
Digressing to the art, depends on the city and the public art presence.
Cincinnati has a very robust public art support network. The murals are all over the place in an area called Over The Rhine. You can’t really go a block without some kind of commissioned art in that section of the city. There are really three streets that stretch for probably 8-10 blocks north and south.
Columbus (close to where I live) is similar, but not as strong in the public support. Columbus has 2 areas, the Short North and Franklinton.
