Show Summertime in the Southern Hemisphere

Look, I love those "Show Wintertime" shots but at the other end of the World it is mid summer. I challenge all the the people from this end of the World to post your summertime shots here...

Here is my contribution shot with my cropped sensor Nikon D90 but my not exactly compact 150-500 sigma. In the new year, I will get a Nikon to MFT adapter with aperture control and that will be totally mad!!!!

Now I have only had my Bigma for 2 weeks and the first time I tried to take it to the beach for some surfing shots there was no surf. A bit better this morning so I did these...

#1 I feel like I am right there. I think I could manage that as I wouldn't have to stand up

Peter, thanks for starting this thread with your surfing "Bigma" shots! It's a wonderful counterbalance to our frigid fair in the northern climes.

I love to swim, forget about surfing unless it's going to be body surfing with a boogie board.
