Somehow, perhaps because I spend so much time in small towns with ancient trucks, I always seem to find myself taking photographs of trucks. Old ones, rusted one, majestic ones, forgotten ones. Giant, gargantuan trucks and petite pickups. 18-wheelers and simple 4-wheelers. So....here's a thread for those who either love trucks, like them, or find themselves compelled or driven to go out of your way to photograph them.
First an old Dodge pickup, parked outside of Ashland, Oregon, something of a landmark for locals -

An out-of-commission fire truck - aka a "Seagrave Fire Apparatus" - whose resting place is the small northern California town of McCloud, literally in the shadow of Mt. Shasta -

An extremely rusty Volkswagen pickup, converted from a VW bug, in Portland, Oregon -

A logging truck at the local truckstop alongside the Interstate freeway, in Talent, Oregon -

A Kenworth 18-wheeler at the truckstop in the neighboring town of Phoenix, Oregon -

An ancient but still semi-functional firetruck in the annual Fall 'Harvest Parade', in my adopted hometown of Talent -

An old truck being used as a de facto billboard to advertise the local used Car & Truck emporium -

A rusty Dodge 'flatbed' for sale at the same emporium -

Another 'flatbed', the 1954 Chevy 3/4 ton that lives and works at vineyards in the Red Hills of Dundee, Oregon -

The same vineyard Chevy flatbed in the snow, in the dead of winter -

A muddy Ford pickup on the farm -

A less muddy Ford of the same vintage stored alongside the outdoor washing machine -

And finally to round things out, my neighbor's pickup (wouldn't you know it, also a Ford), parked and patiently awaiting a forthcoming rainstorm -

So there you have it - a few Trucks that I've encountered over the last few aeons.
My trucks would like to get together with your trucks, if you'd care to park them in this Thread 🙂
