Leica Show us your shots with the 50mm

VInce, that shot of your daughter looking over the railing is terrific. The 50 Lux renders beautifully, that is the sort of shot that you could have shot on an expired disposable film camera and it would still be a keeper.

The jeep was a mess after 10 day of touring the French Country side. It brought a lot of Somme mud home with it......most of it is coated on my driveway now.

I find that the more cameras and lenses you bring, the more time you'll lose choosing between them. And the moment may have passed by the time you've done so.
I find the "one camera, one lens" tactic to work best, most of the time ;)

Nice shot of that "Harry Tate". :)

Shot a few rolls with this lens on my M3 a week ago. I used a 43mm vented hood and I got very similar vignetting like you, Asiafish.

I use a 43 to 46mm step up ring, a standard thickness B+W filter and a 46mm vented hood. I actually added a bit more vignetting in post.

Yes, they're US Army Signal Corps "PH-324" cameras. Part of the "PH-261 Photographic Set". The Darkroom-in-a-box.

The one in front is the latest addition to the collection, cost me as much as the other two combined. None of them still have there military nomenclature plates unfortunately. This one has a faint Signal Corps acceptance stamp still on it, though.

Took my M Monochrom and 50mm f/2 Summicron-M (v5) into a basement pub for some Celtic music and fun with good friends. All at ISO 3200, lens at f/2, minimal post.
