Show: Why we love Winter!

About this time of the year, us northerners can get more than a bit tired of winter. Cabin-Fever, Seasonal Affective Disorder, our only skin color from windburn. What-have-you and call it what you will.

BUT! Winter is also an amazing time of year for photos. Capturing images of winter can be a great motivator to get out, laugh-off the cold, and look to see what a marvel winter also is.

So here's the thread to show those winter pics, I'll start out with a few from the X-E1 with 18-55mm:

Thanks! I'm glad I was able to make something a bit neat to look at out of the jumble that was that site.

Here's a few more from today. We're getting our snow storm here. Not as bad as out east but enough to keep us busy with shovels, and the most and heaviest still to come.

Today wasn't much about color, it was more about contrasts toward drama.

This is probably the last of winter 2013 for me. Last weekend at Long Lake Park in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
