Thanks, man, but the winter pelt is living dangerously these days. Depending a bit on the next trip to the barber, most likely it sheds no later than end of April.

I gave up going to the barber when they started charging me a search and rescue fee ...

Seriously though, after my brain surgery (x2), I've decided that I quite like what's left of my head hair about 3-4mm long, all over. It stops the wispy bits from tickling the bald bits ... .

You ought to change your avatar, you look great with the beard, Jens.
I had almost three times the length during my studies in Edinburgh and hair down to my shoulders. One day a white-bearded man crossed the road and came to me saying "you must be from the Hebridies". Of course I had to tell him that beards grow in Germany, too. I was actually the first one in my home village in 1969 to run around with a beard and got lots of strange looks and remarks (like: why must you run around like Jesus, you'd be such a nice guy without).
