W/NW Signs of Fall.

1937 Carl Zeiss Jena 8.5cm F2 Sonnar on the Leica M9, using a Contax-Leica adapter with custom-index cam. That means I spent a lot of time filing metal to get focus good from 1.15m to infinity.

100% crop- did not see the Spider until I downloaded the DNG file.

1934 Carl Zeiss Jena 5cm F2 Sonnar, Y2 filter, on the Leica M Monochrom. This is the lens that the new Bertele Sonnar is based on.
This one is converted using a tabbed J-8 focus mount, modified for 0.75m close focus.
I'll be comparing the two Sonnars when my Bertele Sonnar arrives.

@tonyturley
Love the fog!!! Wish we had ops to shoot fog on water around here. I hope you got down to the water's edge...looks like there would some additional great shots from that angle.
Thanks Apollo. I did get down to the water's edge, but not at that spot . . . the hillside was a rather steep plunge down to the river. I would have needed climbing rope and the skills to use it!
