I feel your pain. We have those here and I don't live anywhere near a big city.

First entry in a few days. I was leaving for work and saw that this spider had spun its web overnight, blocking the passage. As much as I hated to disturb it, I had to clear it out. The 29th was my wife's birthday and I couldn't leave it for her as an early birthday gift ... The thought may have percolated for a bit though
